Saffron's dam, Vetch, is a large reddish brown doe with a nice udder that is easy to milk. Vetch produced 3444 lbs of milk (141P 178F) in 603 days. Her 2017 Linear Appraisal score was 91 E E E E as a six year old. The sire is Pharaoh. As with the other Pharaoh does, Saffron has a very correct topline and a lovely udder. She produced 2596 lbs of milk in 315 days as a first freshener. Saffron has had an extended lactation and has produced 2880 lbs of milk in 408 days with 126 lbs of butterfat and 105 lbs of protein. She was appraised in August 2021 with a score of V E E V 90. In her 2022 lactation, Saffron produced 1690 lbs of milk in 354 days. We were appraised in September 2023. Saffron scored well!
